On Saturday it did: 26 of 43 for 317 yards, 7.4 an attempt, 109 rushing yards on 6 carries, three touchdowns, and the 12-play drive that answered Oregon's only lead of the second half, against the sixth-ranked team in the country, a year after that team won 69-3.
The two-game body of work cuts the other way. The Tulsa and Oregon box scores added together read 55 of 92, 59.8%, for 558 yards, 3 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, a 112.8 rating. Both of Saturday's interceptions were tipped, and both became Oregon touchdowns: Devon Jackson returned the first 96 yards, and Matayo Uiagalelei returned the second to the 1, where Oregon scored on the next snap.
